Anna Louise Bennett, age 91, of Clarksville, TN, went to be with her Lord on May 19, 2017.

She was born on September 4, 1925, in Glendale, WV to the late William David Newsom and Myrtle Mae Beatty Newsom.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Brother Chris Reeves officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 3:30 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Private committal service will be held at a later date at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.

Louise was a member of her church family at Warfield Boulevard Church of Christ. She was devoted to the Lord and adored her family. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, and serving others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Wayne Bennett, Sr.; her precious daughter, Marie Elaine Bogard; sister, Nancy Jane Newsom; two brothers, Rollie David Newsom and James Thomas Newsom.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Jane Bennett; beloved son, Jesse Wayne Bennett, Jr.; son-in-law, Paul A. Bogard; two grandsons, Mark A. Bogard (Kristen) and John T. Bogard; two great-grandchildren, David Karson Bogard and Sarah Kanon Bogard; and many wonderful friends.
