Anthony “Toby” Ronald Mangino, age 84, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully at home on January 6, 2018.

Anthony was born February 21, 1933 in Schenectady, NY to the late Nicholas and Alta Fountain Mangino. He is also predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Rose Sanchez Mangino.

Mr. Mangino was a 1951 graduate of Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady. He attended the General Electric Apprentice program and was a manufacturing engineering specialist for GE in Schenectady, as well as San Jose, CA, where he and his family resided for 40 years. Toby was also a master woodworker and loved model airplanes and ships. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Anthony is survived by fiancée Linda Clark Smith of Clarksville; three daughters: Angela (John) Lee of Clarksville, Tina (Ron) Manzi of Aptos, CA, and Amy Didion of San Jose, CA; sister Jacquelyn (Michael) Lotano of Glenville, NY; sister-in-law Louise Law of Schenectady, NY; brother-in-law Michael Sanchez of Schenectady, NY; seven grandchildren: Tony, Ron, Jonny, Felicia, Katrina, Nick and Greg; ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12 at 9:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarksville. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Lee, Jonny Russell, Ron Forhan, Ron Manzi, Greg Manzi, and Kevin Kutch. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Manzi and Tony Forhan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 709 Franklin St. Clarksville, TN 37040.
