Barbara Nell Maples Howard, age 73, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center. 

Barbara was born September 27, 1943, in Cromwell, KY, to the late Glendon Maples and Iva Glendeen Roymer Maples. 

Barbara worked for 35 years as the Chief of Accounts Payable at Fort Campbell, and ten years as Bus Aide for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Green River Cemetery in Cromwell, KY.

Barbara is survived by her son, Steve Nanney II; daughter, Tereva Outland; brother, Larry Maples; sister, Lois Holbrook; and three grandchildren, Holly Nanney, Carson Nanney, and Tannar Outland.
