Barbara Sue Jayroe, 63, of Clarksville, TN, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital.

Barbara was born on March 8, 1954, in Ironton, OH to the late Carl Franklin Davis and Patty Webb Davis. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Beulah Wilson.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, with Pastor Reed Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. She loved to sing praises to the Lord and sang with the church choir Praise Team for many years. She also loved writing songs of praise to the Lord. She loved being a Prayer Warrior.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jewell L. Jayroe; two sons, Steve Brightwell and Darnel Sebree; two daughters, Kathy Jayroe and Christina Jayroe; five grandchildren, Darnela (Ravon Brown) Jayroe, Chaunsie Sebree, Kenisha Sebree, Michael-Lee Hurt, and Ryan Hurt; seven great-grandchildren, Day’Shawn Jayroe, Day’Vaughn Jayroe, Nevaeh Jayroe, Cain Sebree, TJ Sebree Holmes, Tyrese Brightwell,  and Makayla Brightwell; three brothers, Dennis Davis (Pam), Kenneth Davis (Mary), and Richard Davis (Kay); two sisters, Brenda Priest and Deborah Brown (Donald); many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and twenty-five God children.
