So very much loved, was always a blessing to me. God always knew when a call, visit was the medicine I needed. Love you dearly Aunt Barb. Love your niece Gail

Barbara was very special to our family. Even though we were not related by blood, she felt like a close relative. We always visited with her when we were back in Tennessee. I talked to her on the phone periodically and Christmas cards were a must each year. I will never forget how good she was to my grandmother and aunt when they were ill. I first met her when I was a child and would visit my relatives in Chicago. Who would know that years later, Barbara would move to Tennessee and we would reconnect as adults. Even though we can't be at the service due to the distance, our entire family will be there in spirit. Barbara, you were a special person and we love you very much.

Barbara, you were the rock to my Dad, I so appreciate your having been there for him. I firmly believe that without you he would have gone to the Lord a long time ago. I'm gonna miss our text messaging, and our phone calls. I know I have not been there all that much, but it's because I knew you were taking excellent care of my Dad. Thank you for being there for him, for me, and the rest of our family. You will be sorely missed.
