Barbara Lane Myers, age 77, of Dover, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville. 

Barbara was born April 12, 1940, in Westmoreland, TN, to the late Philip Creasy and Belle Holleman Creasy. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lane. 

Mrs. Myers was a member of Fort Donelson United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Kiwanis Club, The Red Hat Society, the E-9 Wives Club, United Methodist Women, and for the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Barbara also volunteered at The Red Cross Blood Drive regularly. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 9, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Robert Webster officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, July 9, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Barbara is survived by her husband, Forrest Myers; son, Philip Lane of Arizona; daughter, Michele Lane Rippy of Clarksville, TN; additional daughter, Brenda Myers (Jim Lindgren) of Fishers, IN; two grandchildren, Douglas Rippy and Graceon Rippy; and two additional grandchildren, John Lindgren and Hannah Lindgren.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Fort Donelson United Methodist Church's Dewayne Riddick Sunday School Class.
