Charles E. Brabham, 72, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at VA Hospital in Nashville, TN, after fighting a good battle.

Charles was born on February 10, 1945, in Wise County, VA to the late Garnell Brabham and Blanche Garrett Brabham. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dr. William G. Brabham and sister, Alfair Myers.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Jonnie Aldridge officiating. Burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Charles retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service. He was a graduate of C.A. Johnson High School Class of 1964. He was a member of Top Notch Missionary Baptist Church.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Dorothy Metcalf Brabham of Clarksville, TN; loving son, Kevin Lee Brabham of Clarksville, TN; and six sisters, Christine Ferguson, Shirley Bookhart (John), Martha Oree, Margaret Huff, Gloria Brabham, and Lenora Wise of Columbia, SC.
