Denver Robert Long, Jr., 60, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at his residence.

Denver was born on July 8, 1956, in Ft. Campbell, KY to the late Denver Robert Long, Sr. and Betty Joan Pearre Long.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at the BWC Clubhouse. The procession to the clubhouse will leave the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman parking lot at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Denver was a Maintenance Supervisor with Bi-County Solid Waste Management. He was a founding board member of the BWC and member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He belonged to the Choctaw Indian Tribe. He was a loving husband, father, and friend who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Wallace Long of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Denver Robert (Rebecca) Long, III of Missouri and currently serving our country in Qatar and James Princo (Candice) Long of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Sara Nicole (John) Williams of Clarksville, TN; sister, Dawn Theresa Long (Dave Bivins) of Clarksville, TN; niece, Jasmine Vaughn of Clarksville, TN; and seven grandchildren.
