Esther I. Reed, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab. 

Esther was born April 9, 1930, in Blue Ridge, MO, to the late Thomas Cutshall and Fannie Butler Cutshall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Max O. Reed; and one brother, Ferris Cutshall. 

Mrs. Reed was a dedicated homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 20, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerry Harwell officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, June 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday, June 20, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Esther is survived by her daughter, Diana (LeRoy) Todd; one brother, Thomas Cutshall of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Shawn (Buffy) Dove, Shelly (Joe) Parker, Scott (Benita) Diggs, Tim (DeAnna) Todd, and Jenny (Robert) McLesky; and nine great grandchildren, Lilly Dove, Zackary Elmer, Reed Parker, Karley Ochoa, Grace Clark, Ryan Clark, Kaylee Todd, Tyler Todd, and Alaina McLesky. 

Esther's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
