Francis Carol Rush Darnell, 78, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville.

Francis was born on March 19, 1939, in Garland City, AR to the late John Wesley Rush and Norma Louise Loveday Rush. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Zandra Lee Darnell and step-mother, Margaret L. Rush.

No services are planned.

Francis was a Retired Telephone Operator for AT&T/South Central Bell. She was a graduate of CHS and member of New Providence Church of Christ.

Francis is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Darnell; son, David Wayne Darnell; sister, Barbara Joan Rush; step-brother, William Lawrence Barber; two half-sisters, Judith Margaret Riley and Melody Hazel Springer; granddaughter, Amanda Jean Darnell; and two great-grandchildren, Chrishtiana and Donavon.
