Fred Lee Terry Jr.

Fred Lee Terry, Jr., passed away in Clarksville, TN, on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the age of 59.

Fred was born in Alachua, FL, on December 26, 1964, to the late Rev. Fred Lee Terry Sr. and Catherine Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Allen Terry.

Fred is survived by his wife, Shannon, sons, Kerry Dowell and Justin Buck, daughters, Shameka McGuire, Veronica Washington, Cheyenne Dowell, and China Dowell, brother Paul (Tahasi) Terry, and 10 grandchildren, including his “Booger Baby” Charlie Dowell who lives with Fred and Shannon.

Fred loved all things football; he was an avid Florida Gators fan and coached local teams as well. He was a wonderful “paw-paw”, a great husband, father, and friend.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Superintendent Ted officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
