Kevin McWhorter, 54, of Clarksville,TN, went to meet the Lord on Friday, July 7, 2017.

Kevin was born on April 22,1963, in Montgomery County to the late Ray McWhorter and Mabel Griffy McWhorter.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at noon in the chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Charles Martin and Enrique Hernandez-Vigil officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm and Tuesday from 10 until the hour of service.

Kevin recently retired as a small engine technician for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. He was a faithful member of Fellowship UMC where he served as drummer for the worship band. Kevin was a humble, loving man with a gift for making people laugh.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Debra Sutton McWhorter; daughter, Kristen (Ryan) Sandmire; son, Skyler McWhorter all of Clarksville,TN; brothers Philip (Kay) McWhorter, Washington and Mike (Janet) McWhorter, Cunningham, TN; sister Evonne McWhorter Austin, Murfreesboro, TN; and his precious granddaughter Laney Sandmire.

Pallbearers will be Travis Kennedy, Justin Shepherd, Clinton Shepherd, Jeremiah Jones, Bobby Taylor and Larry Clinard. Honorary pallbearers are the Fellowship UMC Worship Team.
