Rebecca "Becky" McCauley Jarrell

Rebecca “Becky” McCauley Jarrell, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the age of 78.

Becky was born June 11, 1945, in Clarksville, TN to the late Lea A. McCauley and Dottie Williams McCauley.  Becky is survived by her two daughters, Brittnye Jarrell and Brandy Jarrell, both of Clarksville, TN.

Becky retired from Jostens after 38 years of service. Her colleagues called her their “Martha Stewart” because of her keen skills in the kitchen. She was known for her delicious baked goods and holiday meals. There was always room at Becky’s table and plenty of food for everyone. She knew your favorite dishes, and prepared each one with love.  Becky also enjoyed crafting. She loved making scarves, wreaths, and jewelry.

One of the loves of Becky’s life, along with her two daughters, was Murphy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Becky and Murphy were dear companions. Murphy loved to give kisses and receive tiny bits of treats from the dinner table. He enjoyed sitting in Becky’s lap while she relaxed in her favorite recliner. Their love for one another ran deeply and was unconditional. Murphy crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019, but he was remembered fondly and missed each day thereafter.

The family would like to thank Spring Meadow for the great care she received while there.  They would like to thank Kasey Hall, Becky’s hospice nurse, for the kindness and exceptional care she gave.  Lastly, they would like to thank Pam Chandler for the compassion, patience and comfort she gave Becky over the last couple of months. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
