Sue Carolyn Hagewood, age 83, of Gallatin, TN, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Gallatin Healthcare.

Sue was born September 13, 1933, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Richard Douglas Coleman and Eunice Catherine Mills Coleman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Hagewood and her son, Robert Hagewood.

Sue was US Army veteran, a dedicated homemaker, and was of the Methodist faith.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, February 26, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Howie Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery, in Charlotte, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, February 26, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hagewood is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Len) McFarland of Atlanta, GA, Patricia (Thomas) Wright of Gallatin, TN, and Sherri McCorkle of Gallatin, TN; brother, John Coleman of Nashville; two sisters, Diane Parker of Seattle, WA and Dorothy McWhorter of Clarksville; and four grandchildren, Matthew Wright, Vivian Wright, Chelsea Sandusky, and Gavin McCorkle.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
