Vernerdeine "Dee" Singer, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Dee was born Vernerdeine Dick on February 25, 1934, and moved to Clarksville in 1958. Dee and her husband Bud of 67 years, owned Uncle Bud's Furniture Store. Dee spent countless hours supporting her sons' baseball and football teams and rarely missed a game. Dee was an avid runner and loved traveling to Florida. 

Dee will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sales woman, entrepreneur, furnisher of food and drinks to ball players throughout Clarksville, but mostly the love of Bud's life.

Dee is survived by her husband Otmer (Bud), her son Gary Singer (Vicki), her sister Francis Haddix, 10 grandchildren, Janet Rowland (Tommy), Nicole McLemore (Dallas), Jessica Singer, Richard Singer III (Jeehye), Jason Singer (Larin), Jacqueline Singer, Gary Singer Jr., Christian Singer (Paige), Claire Singer, and Trey Singer, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Exie Dick; her son Dr. Richard Singer; two sisters Adele Ferguson and Jackulene Dick; her brothers Les Dick, Tom Dick, Ralph Dick, Jr. and Bob Dick. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, June 7, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Gary Singer, Jr., Jason Singer, Richard Singer III, Christian Singer, and Trey Singer. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Al Menah Shriners Temple, 1354 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207.
