Annette (Busby) Wooten

Annette Wooten, 88, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Lucy King St. Anthony Hospice in Henderson, KY.

Annette was born on May 4, 1930, in Henderson, KY to the late Thomas Busby and Frances Crowley Busby. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Minor Vernon Wooten; brother, Bobby Joe Busby; and son-in-law, Larry McCormick.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Brett Eblen officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Annette was a retired cashier for Martin IGA. She was a member of St. Bethlehem First United Methodist Church.

Annette is survived by four sons, Thomas (Sue) Wooten, Donnie (Joni) Wooten, Dale Wooten, and Davy Wooten; two daughters, Diane McCormick and Denise (Jimmy) Schwab; two brothers, Walter Busby and Billy Busby; four sisters, Redia Brooks, Fredia Russell, Brenda Willingham, and Debra Powell; nineteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Schwab, Jon Wooten, Jason Wooten, Chase Smith, Chase Hicks, and Chris McCormick.
