Bobbie Earl Dixon

Bobbie Earl Dixon, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare. 

Bobbie was born September 8, 1943, in McMinnville, TN, to Homer Earl Dixon and Edna Clemmons Dixon. 

Mr. Dixon was a retired police officer with the Clarksville Police Department. He was a retired US Army veteran. Bobbie served in Vietnam and obtained a Purple Heart. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, November 20, at 12:00 PM, at Clarksville International Church, with Pastor Greg Plummer and Elder Ryan Crosslin officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville, where full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be Monday, November 19, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, and Tuesday, November 20, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the church. 

Bobbie is survived by his wife, Shirley Dixon; two sons, Robert Dixon and Jesse Dixon; sister, Nadine Maxwell; and several other family members.
