Buena (Gill) Jinnett

Buena Gill Jinnett, of Clarksville, passed to her Heavenly home on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the age of 93.

Buena was the daughter of the late James Simon Gill and Birdie May Harper Gill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Dorris Jinnett; nine siblings, Clarence Gill, Thelma Anderton, Rosa Reeves, Grady Gill, Sadie Gill, Lily Fuller, Curtis Gill, Isa Miller, and one stillborn sister.

Buena is survived by a daughter, Wanda Jinnett Stringer; two granddaughters, Amy (Jason) Barrett and Terry Beth (Brad) Damron; four great granddaughters, Gracie Barrett, Kallie Barrett, Emma Barrett, and Evelyn Damron.

Mrs. Jinnett was a wonderful Christian wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She retired from Booster Manufacturing Company. Buena was a member of Stroudsville Church of Christ. She loved cooking, sewing, drawing, singing, playing the guitar, and helping on the farm. Mrs. Jinnett always looked out for the needs of others before herself.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date, at Stroudsville Church of Christ.
