Chance Hunter Stofko, age 18, of Cunningham, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare. 

Chance was born February 12, 1999, in Fort Carson, CO, to Brian M. Stofko and Elisa Stofko. He loved his family, friends, and animals. Chance had a huge heart and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was a staunch supporter of Bikers Who Care, and his favorite time of year was volunteering at the Bikers Who Scare Haunted House. Chance had just started college at Murray State University, where he was training to be an Emergency Medical Technician. 

In addition to his parents, Chance is survived by his grandparents, whom he loved dearly, George D. and Margaret "Peggy" Stofko of Harding, PA, and Ronald and Ruth Domal of Moosic, PA. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, September 19, at 7:00 PM, with Doug Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19, from 4:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made by sending a check, made payable to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, indicating that it is in memory of Chance Stofko, and mailing it to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Development, Gift and Donor Services, 2525 West End Avenue, Suite 450, Nashville, TN 37203.
