Annamaria, I've known you since elementary school and remember your father from seeing him at St. Bethlehem Elementary School all the way to seeing him while I was a student at APSU. My condolences to you and your family.

Mrs. Boehms and Family,
My deepest sympathies on Dr. Boehms passing. He was my advisor and mentor at Georgetown College, a big reason for choosing an Environmental Science degree and career. He was very inspiring, entertaining and patient, an ideal professor. He made it easy to be looked up to, someone to get advice and guidance. I am fortunate to have crossed paths with him in life. Sammye
We were saddened to read of Charlie's passing. I am 85 and Joyce 83 so we know what a long and fruitful life he had because we have also had one. At our age one of our biggest concerns is one of our children not surviving either of us.
We wish the best for you and your family.

Dr. Charlie Boehms was one of the most liked teachers in the biology department at
Austin Peay. He was a kind, considerate and excellent teacher. I enjoyed talking to
him about a year ago in a doctor's office in Clarksville. He was the same wonderful
gentleman. Sammye, I offer my sincere condolences.

I worked with Charlie at APSU back in the early 80s. Our offices were across the hall from each other. He was so kind to me....always happy! I have such fond memories of him. He was a good man. My condolences to his family and circle of friends.

Dr. Boehms was my favorite professor at the Peay in 1990. He taught me in Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. He was such a blessing and a joy in my life. This world was better for having him, but heaven has received a very special man. I pray God will give all of you the peace that passes all understanding as you go through this difficult time. I will continue to pray for you.

Sammye and children please know that we send our deepest condolences regarding the passing of Charlie. I worked for him directly for almost 4 years after he hired me as the Director of Public Safety. I enjoyed working for him. I had seen him a couple of times since you all returned from Kentucky. May God assist you and family though this rough period of his loss.

I was blessed to know Dr. Boehms first at Church and later at Austin Peay. He helped me with many issues when I was in student government, and his friendship made my college days much better. Jeannie and I will miss him.
