Charles "Mike" Herning

Charles "Mike" Herning, 69, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville.

Mike was born July 2, 1950, in Clarksville, TN to the late Charles Joseph Herning and Lena Lahue Chester Herning. He was also preceded in death by his son, Mikie Joe Herning; brother, William Dotson Herning; and sister, Betty M. Herning.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Mike is survived by his wife, Elaine Williams Herning; three step-children, Dennis Rosure, Candice Mikiali, and Darius Moses; sister, Ann (Tony) Carr; and Mike's favorite pet, Peppe Le Pew.
