Coleen was an inspiration and guiding force in securing an improved retirement for teachers in Tennessee, Her wisdom, gracious manner and deep love for all was evident in all of her interactions with everyone across the state. Ms. Doris was my home economics teacher at CHS in the 60's. She was a very pretty and sweet lady. My sister and I caught the train in Clarksville going to New Orleans and to our surprise Ms Doris was on that train also. Prayers for her family.

Mrs Dorris was my home ec teacher from 63-66
To this day I thank her. She was a great lady to me. She was surprised when I left pickles in the boiling pot. Was not supposed to boil pickles. But she was sweet about it. Was my favorite teacher.
