Connie Sue Gibbs

Connie Sue Gibbs, age 61, of Clarksville TN, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare, following a battle with ALS. 

Connie was born October 18, 1957, in Akron, OH, to Joyce Wylie Berg and the late Wayne Berg. 

She worked her entire life in the brokerage field and valued her coworkers and clients. Connie was married to the love of her life on June 28, 1997. He was the light of her life, as she was his. Their love was one that few people ever know. She was passionate about life, and her love for it never stopped. She took each day as a blessing from God. Connie knew no strangers and accepted everyone into her life as a blessing. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 17, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

In addition to her mother, Connie is survived by her husband, Mike Gibbs; two stepchildren, Jeremiah (Jennifer) Gibbs, and Amanda (Jackie) Evitts, as well as Halle Schaaff who was like a daughter to her; sister Vicki (Coy) Sanders; two nieces, Jennifer (Nathan) Boyd and Jacqueline Berg; two great nephews; eight step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. 

In addition to her father, Connie is preceded in death by her brother, Gary W. Berg; and her step son David Gibbs.
