Donald LeRoy Stone

Donald LeRoy Stone, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Donald was born August 6, 1940, in Dodge City, KS, to the late LeRoy Edgar Stone and Elizabeth M. Reinert Stone. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean Stone; and two sisters, Wilma W. Hall and Wilda I. Mueller.

Donald was a US Air Force veteran. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Old West Reenactment Association "Riverchase Posse." Mr. Stone was a graduate of the University of Kansas, where he attained his bachelors and masters degrees. He later worked in city management.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, June 15, at 11:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville. 

Donald is survived by his son, Sean A. (Brigitte) Stone of Elkton, KY; daughter, Nicole D. (Jonathan) Hopper of Elkton, KY; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth M. Hopper, Thomas A. Hopper, Ashlie Staples, and James Bishop.
