Douglas John Aretz

Douglas John Aretz, age 95, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Signature Healthcare. 

Douglas was born April 16, 1922, to the late George Aretz and Rose Aretz. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beverley Jean Aretz; and two brothers, Eugene Aretz and Kenneth Aretz. 

Mr. Aretz was a retired mailman with the US Postal Service. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran, having served in World War II. 

As Douglas wished, there are no services planned, and his remains are to be cremated. 

Douglas is survived by three sons, Douglas (Cathy) Aretz, Stephen (Kimberly) Aretz, and Eugene Aretz; daughter, Mary Beth Aretz; four grandchildren, Stephen Aretz, Justin Aretz, Joshua Aretz, and Jared Aretz; and two great grandchildren, Molly Aretz and Temperance Bridge.
