Edwin Silliman Harris, Jr.

Edwin Silliman Harris, Jr., age 84, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019, at Tennova ER - Sango. 

Edwin was born April 21, 1935, in Meridian, MS, to the late Edwin S. Harris, Sr. and Sadie Boyles Harris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Harris.

Mr. Harris was an avid reader and golfer. He was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration and was a US Army veteran. 

As Edwin wished, there will be no public service, and his remains are to be cremated. 

Edwin is survived by his daughter, Donna Amos of Clarksville; son, Edwin Harris III of Clarksville; two sisters, Allene (Mac) McCrary of Arkansas and Mary Virginia (William) East of Mississippi; four grandchildren, Brittany Amos of Clarksville, Thomas Amos of Clarksville, Edwin Lee Harris of Pittsburgh, PA, and Kyle Harris of Pittsburgh, PA.
