Elizabeth "Betty" Allen, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at her residence. 

Betty was born July 11, 1939, in Wind Gap, PA, to the late Ora Martin Weidman and Isabel Smith Weidman. 

Mrs. Allen worked for Josten's and was a member of Northeast Baptist Church. She also enjoyed her membership to the Nashville Zoo. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 2, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Chaplain Lonnie Penrod officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, February 2, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Betty is survived by her husband, Paul E. Allen, of Clarksville; three sons, Steve (Norma) Purviance of Southside, TN, Steve (Tammy) Allen of Nashville, and Boyd Allen of Kansas; three daughters, Brenda (Ken) Massey of Clarksville, Tammie (Brian) Kjar of Kansas, and April Allen of Clarksville; brother, Herbert (Lorraine) Weidman of Pennsylvania; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. 

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tennova Hospice, 311 Landrum Place, Suite A500, Clarksville, TN 37043.
