What a beautiful tribute to Aunt Gladys. She was a fantastic Aunt. She was always so focused on making sure we were all taken care of in our stay. She was soft spoken, yet strong. I remember her teaching us how to make ribbon fish...She was the only person on the planet that I've ever met that had that talent...She sat with us for hours patiently passing on her skill. I'm going to go to get some Ribbon today and attempt to make a fish in her memory. Aunt Gladys, you are loved and you will be missed.

Craig, Mom, and Judy,
The many trips that we took to visit Tennessee are some of the happiest memories of my life. Gladys was always so welcoming and happy to see us, She didn't take any flak, went out of her way to keep us content and when she laughed....It was always a real belly laugh with a tear in the corner of her twinkly eyes.
Happy tail, I will miss you dearly.

Mrs. Gladys Sue Byrd was a wonderful light, full of humor and love, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Craig, Aunt Gladys will be missed so very much. Please know that I'm always here for you. She will always hold a special place in my heart. From the frog, to the fish she made, to the hard working woman that she was, she touched so many of our lives and I'm so grateful that she was my Great Aunt.
