Hiralaxmi and Chimanlal first came multiple times to the US in late 70’s & early 80’s for the birth of various grandchildren then moved permanently to Clarksville, TN in 1991. Even with a 5th grade education, she was a religious scholar, motivator and active member in the Clarksville/Nashville, TN & Albany, NY local communities. Her grandchildren simply called her, Ba.
Ba was the strength of the family and the matriarch until the day she passed. She was strong minded, strong willed, and such a gentle soul. Her love and devotion to her family and faith were apparent in everything she did. She was not just Ba to her family; she was Ba to the entire community.
Ba, we will miss you immensely!
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her memory to the JAINA Jiv Daya (Animal Welfare) fund (https://www.jaina.org/donations/donate.asp?id=10530), or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040; (931) 645-6488. Online condolences may be made at www.nealtarpleyparchman.com.
