James Patrick Doyle

James Patrick Doyle, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare. 

James was born March 13, 1940, in Chicago, IL, to the late James Patrick Doyle and Bridget Gavin Doyle. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, John Doyle, Donald Doyle, and Thomas Doyle. 

Mr. Doyle was one of the founding members of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. James was a retired US Army veteran. 

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 12, at 11:00 AM, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, with Father Julian Ibemere officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville, where full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with a Rosary following at 7:00 PM; and Monday, March 12, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the church. 

James is survived by his wife, Janet Loretta Hawken Doyle; son, James (Hallie) Doyle of Johnsburg, IL; two daughters, Patricia Doyle and Pamela Doyle, both of Clarksville; sister, JoAnn Glodowski of Des Plains, IL; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Doyle and Lauren VanDorn; nephew, Donald (Janelle) Doyle of Minnesota; one sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church Building Fund, 448 State Line Road, Oak Grove, KY 42262.
