Jim Brewer

Jim Brewer, age 50, of Cumberland City, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Jim was born December 29, 1967, in Clarksville, TN, to James Edward Brewer and Brenda Gail Bumpus Brewer. He worked at Bumpus Body Shop and was a member of Elk Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 20, at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Stephen Cathey. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his wife, Iris Renee Hodge Brewer; two sons, Stephen (Jennie) Brewer of Mt. Juliet, TN and Hunter (Kimberlee) Brewer of Clarksville; sister, Kelly (Cary) Dunn of Southside, TN; and two grandchildren, Hudson and Barrett Brewer.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Brewer, Stephen Brewer, John Brewer, Frank Lepkowski, Judge Mallory, and David Greene. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Bumpus Body Shop and Dura Matz Pro Staff. 

The family wishes to extend their greatest appreciation to those who assisted in the effort to save Jim, during his final moments.
