Joan McCarron, age 81, of Astoria, NY, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017, at her residence. 

Joan was born January 22, 1936, in New York City, NY, to the late Joseph McCarron and Alma Denit McCarron. She was a retired administrator for St. Vincent Hospital, in New York. 

Joan is survived by her sister, Doris Inserra of Clarksville, TN; two nieces, Suzanne Inserra and Judith Kersh; and nephew, Robert C. Inserra.

No services are planned and her remains are to be cremated.
