John E. Fletcher, 77, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

John was born on September 7, 1939, in Clarksville, TN to the late John Morgan Fletcher and Geneva Stacey Fletcher. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doye Baggett Fletcher and sister, Marie Trusty.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 11, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

John was owner of Auction World. He was also a retired supervisor with Trane Company and a National Guard Veteran.

John is survived by his son, Jeff Fletcher of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Lisa Nicholson of Clarksville, TN; and three grandchildren, Morgan Fletcher, Matthew Nicholson, and Chase Nicholson.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Fletcher, George Knight, Morgan Fletcher, Matthew Nicholson, Chase Nicholson, and Larry Westerman.
