John Joseph Kowaleski

John Joseph Kowaleski, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

John was born November 1, 1933, in Fort Monroe, LA, to the late John Kowaleski and Joan T. Yedlaoski Kowaleski. He was also preceded in death by one son, John Robert Kowaleski.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Kowaleski; one son, Anthony (Amy) Kowaleski; daughter, Anastasia Kowaleski (Joe Basilone); three grandchildren, Tony Rutkiewic, Joe Rutkiewic, and Alex Colaluca; and one great granddaughter, Annie Rutkiewic.

Mr. Kowaleski retired from the US Air Force, having served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM with Father Javier Suarze officiating.
