John Bruce Williams, age 74, of Adams, TN, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare. 

Bruce was born September 26, 1943, in Clarksville, TN, to the late John Andy Williams and Garnett Ryan Williams. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joe Anthony Williams; and one sister, Martha Alice Williams. 

Mr. Williams was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He owned 27 trucks, and was on the road for 50 years with CB Handle Rocky Top. Bruce was previously a shop foreman for Clarksville Truck & Diesel. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 2, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 2, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Bruce is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley Steidl Williams; daughter, Sara "Mandy" (Lance) Phillips; two sisters, Linda Tomlinson and Mary Nancy Neil; and four grandchildren, John Tyler Phillips, Madison Brook Phillips, Shelby Jean Stark, and Camryn Lorelle Stark. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Stark, Bruce Davidson, Clint Watts, J.R. Wade, Dean Patterson, Eddie Welker, Lemoine Black, James Wilkinson, Louie Wilkinson, Eric Wooten, and Jim Manning. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 220 Great Circle Road, Nashville, TN 37228.
