Katherine “Miss Kitty” May Cooper, 67, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Tennova. Katherine was born September 21, 1955, in Endicott, NY, to Manilva “Ricky” Emma Robinson and Harold Brown. In addition to her mother, Ricki Bentley, she is survived by her husband, Gregory Dean Cooper; a brother, David Brown; sisters, Cindy Fulbright, Holly Jacobs & Michelle Brown; sons, Ben (Kathy) Winfield, Chris (Terrie) Winfield, John (Melissa) Crowell and Jason (Christi) Crowell; nineteen grandchildren, Steven, Justin, Alex, Dolton, Jessie, Richie, Logan, Andrew, Alexis, Chase, Greyson, Liam, Avery, A.J., Anna, Josh, Athena, Brandon, Howie, and two great-grandchildren. Katherine served as a Sargeant in the US Army and was later disabled and worked as a barber. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 5, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, from 4:00-6:00 PM and Wednesday, October 5, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
