Katrell Bakari Wade Marcell, age 25, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at Centennial Medical Center.
Katrell was born October 13, 1994, in Fort Riley, KS. He was a student at Austin Peay State University, and he loved to cook. Katrell will be missed by his Miller's Ale House family.
Katrell is survived by his father, Darrell Marcell; mother, Shani DeVaughn Hubbard of Clarksville; stepfather, Maurice Hubbard; great grandmother, Pauline Coley of Atlanta, GA; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Fowlkes of Winter Springs, FL; paternal grandmother, Jeanie Marcell of Goldsboro, NC; two brothers, Ysae Cann and Amir DeVaughn, both of Frostburg, MD; two sisters, LaiLa Hines and Karolisha Berry, both of Clarksville; stepbrother, Deshaun Marcell Fisher of Goldsboro, NC; stepsister, Jada Armstrong of Goldsboro, NC; aunts, Keisha DeVaughn, Zakiyah DeVaughn, Kalihah Barber, Margaret Bishop of Hudson, NY, Elaine (Chris) Dawson of Atlanta, GA, and Vikki McMillian of Queens, NY; uncle, Gregory Marcell of Goldsboro, NC; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carlotta Fowlkes and William Raynor; and paternal grandfather, Billy Marcell.
Memorial service will be held at a later date, at Our Lady Charity Church, 1669 Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY 11213.
