Kenneth Earl Johnson, Sr.

Kenneth Earl Johnson, Sr., age 83, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Kenneth was born March 20, 1939, in South Charleston, WV, to the late Charles G Johnson and Audrey Doris Shultz Johnson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma Johnson; two sons, Kenny and Mark Johnson; brothers, Jerry, Rick, Ralph, Ruben and Larry Johnson; sisters Beulah Mae Johnson and Betty Hart and a half-brother, Ward Pauley.

He is survived by his wife Min A. Johnson; siblings Charlotte Dunlap, Gary Johnson, Dora Harvey, Ronald (Yolanda) Johnson, Carl Johnson, Randy (Pat) Johnson, Lorraine (John) Kender, Rosie (Eddie) Wells; two grandsons, Zach (Stephanie) Johnson and Hunter (Natalie) Johnson, one great grandchild, Bear Johnson; daughter-in-law, Amy Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed hiking with fellow enthusiasts in the Tennessee Trails Association, spending time with his grandsons and great-grandson and his dog Buddy.  He was a retired Army veteran, having served 25 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, July 27, at 4:30 PM, at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Larry Peters officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27 from 2:30 PM until the time of service at the church.
