Larry Eugene McNeese, age 66, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare. 

Larry was born September 10, 1951, in Huntsville, AL, to Ada Marie Thorne Tinsley and the late Kenneth McNeese. He was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Wayne McNeese. 

Larry was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Larry was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Army, having served for over 20 years. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 21, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Bro. Derek Smith and Art Lackey officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery, where full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be Saturday, October 21, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by his wife, Carolyn Davenport McNeese; son, Richard (Autumn) Quinn of Brinkley, AR; three daughters, Sonia Welker of Clarksville, Janet Melton of Lake Charles, LA, and Alannah McNeese of Arkadelphia, AR; two brothers, Wayne (Pam) McNeese and Ricky (Diane) McNeese, both of Mt. Juliet, TN; sister, Tina (Rick) Hutsenpiller of Mt. Juliet, TN; and eight grandchildren, Matilyn Welker, Bentley Quinn, Erica Marshall, Lauren and Dylan McNeese, and Andrew, Jeremy, and Trey Melton. 

Pallbearers will be Richard Quinn, Dale Davenport, C.J. Hutsenpiller, Kenny McNeese, Donnie Black, and Tim Welker. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Albright and Rigo Maximo.
