Laura Gunn McElfresh

Laura Gunn McElfresh, age 97, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at her residence.

Laura was born January 28, 1924, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late E.Y. Morrison and Ellen Williams Morrison. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Henry B. Gunn; second husband, Milton McElfresh; four sisters, Anne Marie Stambaugh, Dorothy Morrison, Harriet Ferrell, and Irene Griffey; and two half-sisters, Sadie Wall and Betty Bennett.

She is survived by many, much-loved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Laura was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 14, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 14, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
