Lieselotte "Lilo" Hertrich Rogoish, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living.
Lilo was born February 24, 1926, in Uberlingen, Germany, to the late Arnold Hertrich and Marie Elise Betz Hertrich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Dominic Rogoish.
Mrs. Rogoish was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Historical Society, and AP Playhouse. She worked at Austin Peay State University, where she did Costume Design. She created costumes for Ft. Campbell Soldier Show Center and Dinner Theater, Austin Peay Theater, Dance Department, the Trahern Center, surrounding area schools, Cumberland Arts Centre, and Backstage Costume.
In 2004, Lilo received the Ovation Award, recognizing her "dedication to building and sustaining arts and culture in Montgomery County."
Lilo's tour-de-force was building all 31 cast member period costumes in minute detail from tricorn hat to buckled shoe to bustled dress for "1776" at Ft. Campbell, which won the Forscom award competition.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date, at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, in Nashville.
Lilo is survived by two sons, Richard (Pam) Rogoish and Tom (De) Rogoish; four daughters, Rosemare Rogoish, Susan Rudolph, Heidi Erby, and Julie Rogoish; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
