Lillian Mae Jendry

Lillian Mae Jendry (Tuki Psito Win), Oglala Lakota, age 73, passed away May 11, 2022 in Clarksville, TN.

Lillian was born August 18, 1948, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to the late Francisco Hernandez and Alice Mary Sound Sleeper.

Lillian was preceded in death by longtime foster parents, Arnold and Marie Benson; brothers, Frank Hernandez Jr. and Joseph, Lonnie and Arthur Isham; sister, Darlene M. Garcia; son, Thomas Jendry and great grandson, Jackson Lee Jendry.

She is survived by her sons Michael Shane (Luz) Jendry Sr.; Anthony Jendry; daughter Lisa Renee Jendry; one sister, Mary Rodriguez and seven grandchildren.

Military Honors will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery, 20901 Pleasant Valley Dr., Sturgis, SD 57785, on June 2 at 1:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held the following day, June 3, at 2:00 PM,  at the American Legion Post 22, 818 E. Saint Patrick St., Rapid City, SD 57701.
