Linda (Wade) Alexander

Linda Wade Alexander, age 76, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at her residence. 

Linda was born February 2, 1942, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Houston Wade and Katherine Howell Wade. She retired from The Bank of Clarksville and was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 1, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Wallace and Ray Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home. 

Linda is survived by her husband, C.V. Alexander; two daughters, Michelle (Gary) Wallace of Dover, TN and Carla Allison of Clarksville; sister, Joyce Dial of Clarksville; and four grandchildren, Whitney Wallace, Gavin Wallace, Mitchell Allison, and Montgomery Allison. 

Pallbearers will be Gavin Wallace, Mitchell Allison, Montgomery Allison, Bryan Allison, Terry Brown, Hagan Stone, Evan Peay, and Gary Wallace. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary, 2226 Donelson Parkway, Dover, TN 37058; or to New Providence United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1317 Fort Campbell Boulevard, Clarksville, TN 37042. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to family friend, Mary Ann Dillon, and AseraCare Hospice, especially Robin Wagenmaker and Christy Clark, for their exceptional care of Linda.
