Loreda Lewis Marshbanks, age 97, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center. 

Loreda was born June 23, 1920, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Marvin Lewis and Mae Butts Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Laymon Marshbanks; son, Louis Marshbanks; her twin sister, Lorene Ellis; siblings, Bettie Lumpkins, Bishop Lewis, Emmitt Lewis, Thurman Lewis, and Leslie Lewis. 

Loreda was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 30, at 10:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Sonny Kim officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 29, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday, January 30, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Loreda is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ann Marshbanks of Clarksville; one grandson, Eddie (Lisa) Marshbanks of Clarksville; one granddaughter, Rita Faye (Ricky) Knight of Clarksville; five great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Spring Meadows, Dr. Cha, and AseraCare Hospice for the loving care they have shown to Loreda during her final days.
