What a sweet, gentle lady. Always kind and considerate. Aunt Louise always seemed to be the quiet one in the boisterous "bunch" with a demeanor that displayed understanding and a listening ear. We have been greatly blessed to be part of a large family that was always so close to each other. That is a rare occasion and relationship. You continue in our prayers as precious memories fill our thoughts. Thank you Aunt Louise for your example and encouragement.

Pam,
My mother Lillian entered a memory care facility near me in Nashville about 2 years ago when I realized that we were on an Alzheimer's journey too. She always spoke fondly of your mother for what must have been 60 years or so that they knew each other. Yes, your mother taught me in kindergarten. Your mother was an angel of kindness and finest example of a loving mother and Christian. Mother enjoyed that you brought Louise to the Senior Friday Luncheons for quite a while. Mother was devastated when your mother went to live in the special memory facility. She did go by to visit as long as she could drive. She would tell me about her visits when they were still able to reminisce about the very old days of kindergarten. I don't know how they taught so many children all at once and made it such a wonderful experience and those children still have fond memories of your mother.(and mine). Please accept my sympathy. I know mother would have been the first in the receiving line but sadly we think she can no longer remember those particular good "ole" days and we are on the downhill side of her journey.
