Lucy Brewer Johnson

Lucy Brewer Johnson, age 94 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.

Lucy was born August 26, 1926 in Portland, TN to the late Lewis Brewer and Gertrude Payne Brewer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Johnson, two sons: Fred Moore and Kenneth A. Johnson; son-in-law, Richard "Dave" Davis. She is survived by her sons: James L. (Robin) Johnson, John Wesley (Linda) Johnson; daughter, Lucy Davis; sister, Della Mae Cage; one grand daughter whom she raised since birth, Stephany N. Stewart; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 

Lucy was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Friday, January 29, 2021 in the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jesse Osborne and Rev. Katherine Walker officiating. A walk through visitation will be held at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be at Benevolent Lodge #210 Cemetery.

Pall Bearers will be Al Radford, Charles Ogburn, Vester Carney, Harold Ogburn, David Carney and Rob Hall. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Lodge #210/C/O Hazel Radford, 3059 Clydesdale Dr., Clarksville, TN 37043.
