Luz "Lucy" Marie Dyce

Luz "Lucy" Marie Dyce, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at her residence. 

Lucy was born January 12, 1940, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, to the late Aquillino Hernandez and Providencia Zavala. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Dyce; one brother; one sister; and one grandson, Miles Dyce. 

Lucy worked for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, August 2, at 5:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, from 3:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Lucy is survived by her son, Ewing Joseph (Brittany) Dyce of Cincinnati, OH; two daughters, Wendy Rose (Chad) Oglesby of Lubbock, TX and Juanita (Freddie) Thomas of Clarksville, TN; one sister, Carmen Nevarez; ten grandchildren, Christopher Dyce of Clarksville, TN; Jacob Alm of Washington state, Destiny Daniel of Murfreesboro, TN, Ariana, Alexia, Alena, and Christian Oglesby, all of Lubbock, TX, Shyanne Daniel of Murfreesboro, TN, Gavin and Cooper Dyce, both of Cincinnati, OH. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
