Margaret Marie Phillips

Margaret Marie Phillips, age 88, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Margaret was born on May 18, 1935 in Liberty, KY to the late Johnny B. Adams and Beulah Bell Hall. Margaret is also preceded in death by her husband, Dean C. Phillips, Sr. ; daughter, Cynthia Phillips; brothers, Johnny and Stanley Adams; sister and brother in law, Elizabeth” Ann” and Artice”Les” Lester Woolums.  

Margaret is survived by her sons, Dean (Ann) Phillips, Jr. and Alan (Tami Earnest) Phillips; daughters, Beverly Phillips and Angela (Troy) Ray; brother, Larry Adams; sister, Patricia Marcum; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.  

Margaret was an avid gardener and a caregiver of family. She is loved greatly and will be missed dearly.  

A Graveside service will be held on  Friday, November 17, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. John Mark Thomas officiating at Nashville National Cemetery located at 1420 Gallatin Road South, Madison, TN 37115.
