Marion Clyde Sheppard

Marion Clyde Sheppard, 90, passed to the peace of her loving Lord on January 2, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Willie and Sarah Johnson Hunter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sheppard; three brothers; two sisters; and infant grandson, Baby Boy Ellis.

Surviving her are three children, Sandy Sheppard Ellis (Gary), Raymon Sheppard (Patti), and Mike Sheppard (Sheila); seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was a charter member of Hilldale Church of Christ, where she was loved by many.

She had spent her last years at Dialysis Center Inc. (DCI), where many of her nurses called her "mama" and she loved them for the care they gave her. She had a special love for Liz and Ronnie.

Her funeral will be Monday, January 6, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Steve Kirby officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank DCI, the Clarksville Transit System Lift, and her sitter, Jerrisha Murray.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Pallbearers will be Dillan Streetman, Andrew Hale, Steve Gosney, Dean Ellis, Michael Sheppard Jr., Mike Grimes, Larry Lyle, and Steve Carver.
