Martha Sue (Patterson) Bumpus

Martha Sue Bumpus, 73, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville.

Sue was born on March 10, 1945, in Clarksville, TN, to the late T.L. Patterson and Goldie Lee Hughes Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Jewell Bumpus; sons, Tracy Bumpus and Brian Bumpus; daughters, Ruth Renae Stepp and Lori Dawn Huff; and brothers, David Patterson and Ray Patterson.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Sue retired from Acme Boot Company and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Terry) Akin; two sisters, Mary Ensunsa and Vicki Homza; and eight grandchildren.
